According to Kabbalists, there is only one way to prevent war: to balance themselves with the higher, constant force of Nature, which is completely good and benevolent, and by doing so, feel eternal perfection and happiness… peace on Earth.
How is such balance achieved? It is achieved through the correction of the ego. Such correction means transforming the inborn egoistic nature from self-love to the love of others. Kabbalists state that the key to everyone’s achievement of perfection and eternity lies only in such correction.
Today, globalization and interdependency have placed the whole world under the threat of war. All it takes is a global economic collapse, and another world war is a very probable reality.
The reason that today, Kabbalists are coming out and explaining that the uncorrected human ego is the source of evil, is because they are immediately pointing to its cure – the method of correction that many people can be using, but still don’t, because they don’t understand that Kabbalah is such a method. They get turned off by the word “Kabbalah” because of many other claims to “Kabbalah” – commercialized, religious, mystical, magical, and many other methods that have nothing to do with the correction of the ego.
Nevertheless, people (with their egos) will continue evolving, their problems will continue increasing, and they will assume forms of war and other phenomena such as increasing climate imbalance, depression, stress and all kinds of diseases and disagreements between people… until they wake up to see that the ego is at the source of all these problems. Thus, by correcting the ego, it is possible to correct all problems at their source, and turn the tables to literally see an opposite world.
By discussing the ego and the global crisis, Kabbalists today are not trying to scare people; they are only trying to point out the following logic: “The source of all our problems is inside us, in our growing uncorrected ego. We have the means, the cure that fixes all problems directly at their source, and brings us to a much, much better life than anybody can imagine to themselves now. So why continue in this natural egoistic evolution, which we can already see will bring us increasing problems, when we can start correcting ourselves, and transform our future of increasing problems, to a future of increasing joy?”
