Adjusting Our Thoughts to Activate a New Level of Consciousness

Kabbalah states that the Light created our reality (i.e. our perception of ourselves and our surroundings) and operates it in a manner of complete bestowal and love.
The Work of Adjusting Thoughts to Reach the Same Level of Consciousness as the Light
In order for a person to reach the same level of consciousness as this Light, such a person needs to work on adjusting his or her thoughts to be aimed with the same intention as that of the Light, i.e. in a manner of complete bestowal and love.
As Rav Michael Laitman, PhD, mentioned in the preparation to the daily Bnei Baruch Kabbalah lesson* of December 9, 2007, "The force of the Light exists to the extent that our thought wants to be equal in form with It. We therefore need to yearn to unite our thoughts together. Their bonding will give us the same aim as the Light. We will then immediately feel how our thought works in action, how it becomes the constructive force that transforms reality."
Only by Uniting Our Thoughts in the Same Direction Can We Reveal the Light
A single person is incapable of successfully carrying out this work of equalizing with the Light. Kabbalah states that our era is one where the whole of humanity must rise to the next level of consciousness, to the level of the Light Itself.
The 2008 International Kabbalah Congress - United Thought in Action
In preparation for the 2008 International Kabbalah Congress, Rav Laitman is teaching that it is only possible to rise to this level if our thoughts are bonded together in this same direction. "It all depends only if our thoughts are bonded together as one thought, to love and to bestow. By this, we will activate the Light."
For the purpose of bonding together in order to achieve mutual love and bestowal, Bnei Baruch is hosting the upcoming congress this February. Even though there will be all sorts of preparations to cater for 2,000 plus people from all around the world, the work in the level of thoughts is happening now. To the extent that those with the ability to connect to this inner work will exert in it, to that same extent these people will unite through the force that creates and sustains everything in existence-the force of love-and these people will then have the ability to transfer this higher level of consciousness to humanity at large.
